Sikh Calendar 2026 Festivals in December

• Guru Gobind Singh Guryai: Guru Gobind Singh Ji became Guru in 1675. This day celebrates his leadership, Khalsa creation, and contribution to Sikh values of equality, courage, and spirituality.
• Guru Teg Bahadur Jotijot: Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji attained martyrdom in 1675. Beheaded in Delhi, he sacrificed his life defending freedom. So, his Joti jot day honours courage, truth and sacrifice.
• Shaheedi Sahibzade (Younger Sons): This day remembers Baba Zorawar Singh Ji and Baba Fateh Singh Ji, who were bricked alive. Sikhs honour their sacrifice, courage and innocence.
• Shaheedi Sahibzade (Elder Sons): This day marks the martyrdom of Baba Ajit Singh Ji and Baba Juljhar Singh (elder sons of Guru Gobind Singh Ji) in battle.
